This Bird watching & Photography expedition takes you to Keoladeo National Park, one of the UNESCO Heritage sites in India. With an abundant population of 449 species of resident and migratory birds, the park is a treasure trove for Bird Watchers and Wildlife Photographers alike.
Species include a plethora of ducks, shelducks, Geese, Pochards, Quails Pelicans and Storks to name a few, a Bird Photography trip to Keoladeo National Park will always be a rewarding experience for anyone.
Itineraries
Day 1
Respective destinations to New Delhi
You arrive in New Delhi and we meet you at your port of arrival. Board the waiting cab to go to a hotel for an overnight halt.
Day 2
Delhi to Bharatpur
After an early lunch, we arrive at 1230 Hrs at the railway station to board a train to Bharatpur.
We arrive in Bharatpur by 1600 Hrs and board the waiting cabs which will transport us to the hotel. Upon arrival, we check in.
The remaining part of the day is yours to be spent as you deem fit.
Dinner will be an in-house affair.
Day 3
Bird Watching in Keoladeo National Park
Today we will explore the Keoladeo National Park.
We leave for our birding session with our spotter/guide after an early breakfast. You will be given hands on photography tips and pointers to shoot wildlife, especially birds, which can be one of the most difficult subjects to capture.
Return to the resort for lunch and little rest.
Post lunch leave for another wildlife session and explore more of what the Sanctuary has to offer.
We return to the resort by sun down, followed up with a review and discussion session before dinner.
Day 4
Half day in Keoladeo National Park
Early morning head out for our last session in Keoladeo!
Make the most of the serenity of the morning and warmth of the sun rising over the marshland. Enjoy the marvels of the park and click some more!
Return to resort for a late lunch.
The remaining part of the day will be at the resort where we will have a basic Photo Editing workshop on Adobe Lightroom.
The evening will be reserved for a review & discussion session and dinner.
Day 5
Bharatpur to New Delhi and Onwards
We depart from the hotel after breakfast and head out to the station to board the train bound for Delhi at 0925 hrs.
Arrive in Delhi by 1300 Hrs at Hazrat Nizamuddin.
We bid you all farewell at this juncture as you proceed for your onward journey.
